These last few months seem to have supped every ounce of creativity from my bones. I have found it so difficult to get motivated and have focussed on other things. I am now ready to pick myself up and get cracking again.

I have been dyeing a lot of new yarns in the hope that we will get to a yarn fair soon.

This week I have moved into a new studio. It is bright and spacious for my massive amount of stash. Why Is it that no matter how much I make my stash does not seem to get any smaller 😉

I am now in Norfolk Street in Sunderland, when the world returns to some normality it will be ideal for one to one classes and you can visit me (by appointment only)

New Studio

After a lot of cleaning and five car loads of stuff I have moved in and I was even inspired to get the machine out – I cannot tell you haw great that feels. I am really looking forward to going to the studio over the next few weeks – my to do list is growing by the minute

There will be many changes to accommodate in the future and with these will come some difficulties to overcome. At the moment I am working on ways of delivering online techniques and workshop.s. I am also looking at how to share more of my art work online, This is my next challenge. Keep following for updates

After a very busy week I am now ready to put my feet up and have a relaxing weekend.

Take care everyone and stay safe 🙂

  1. Pre lockdown I did your workshop with Guisborough Embroiderers Guild. It inspired me to do lots of stitching. Amongst other things I adapted your ideas into cards and have sent over 40 to friends and family over the weeks.
I’d love to do more workshops with you so please keep me posted!

    1. I am so pleased you were inspired by my workshop and I can’t believe you have made so many cards. Hopefully I can resume workshops of some kind soon x
