Click and share

I am an avid photographer, constantly taking photographs of my work as it progresses and inspirational material; from close ups pictures of flowers to beautiful landscapes, from the texture of tree bark to colours around us. I have discovered that Instagram is a quick and easy platform to share these images of my work and inspiration and therefore I have sadly neglected my blog. Today I have dedicated time to sit down and share my adventures over the past few months and my plans for the future.

I have received such wonderful support and encouraging feedback over the past year with regards to my work and this has been invaluable to me, encouraging me to continue developing ideas into textiles.

Where to buy my work

I take my yarns with me to workshops, fairs and talks. My products are currently permanently available for purchase in two cooperative artist studios:

Allendale Forge Studios in Allendale village. Allendale Forge Studios is a unique attraction where visitors can meet local artists; shop, enjoy delicious home-cooked food and explore the surrounding area.  The gallery, alongside the café, features monthly exhibitions and the shop is full of high quality, handmade gifts from local makers which are unique to the Forge.

Creative Artists Studios Northumberland at Vallum Farm. This is a creative hub that supports and exhibits local artists and their work and provides creative classes and workshops for all ages.

Both if these venues offer a wide range of artists work and somewhere to grab a cup of coffee.
